Gloucester AFC V Forest Green with Photo Gallery

The 4-1 scoreline flattered Rovers after the Tigers dominated the second half, but a late few from James Norwood gave the side a  fortuitous cup win.

I was privileged to be the math ball sponsor for this game, and I must thank all the people there who made a football ignoramus very welcome. The lunch was superb and I was touched by the kindness of everyone there. A marvelous crowd of 2067 made for a fantastic atmosphere, and it was very good to see Gloucester’s MP Richard Graham supporting his city.

City were on the money I thought giving an extremely good performance, but they did struggle in the end and lost to a worthy Forest Green Rovers.
